The music department has some very impressive and well-equipped facilities. Our music room is in a grade 2 listed stone barn and several practice rooms are housed in a converted old village bakery. We also have a separate percussion studio. There is a lot on offer from class-based teaching to individual instrument lessons and orchestras and choirs.

We also have a Senior School Orchestra, Junior School Orchestra, several pop bands coached by a professional rock musician and a School Choir from Year 4 to Year 10 students. There are also regular concerts at Christmas and Summer and visits to London to experience professional concerts and opera. We offer music at GCSE and consistently achieve very good results.
