Kirkstone House School

Seniors

As the Headteacher, I am extremely privileged and proud to lead such a wonderful and unique school. Kirkstone House is a small, co-educational independent school for pupils aged 5-18 years located in the village of Baston on the Cambridgeshire/Lincolnshire borders. At Kirkstone House, we excel in providing a warm, welcoming, supportive, ‘family orientated’ community, where every child can flourish.

We are incredibly proud of the school’s achievements both academically and in terms of the many varied enrichment activities in which students are engaged. We also provide excellent pastoral care in a nurturing environment where each child is known and valued as an individual and where their education is tailored to their individual needs.

We are an entirely inclusive school accepting pupils of all abilities and our success lies in the fact that we enable all to achieve both their personal and academic potential and never lose sight of the individual at the heart of all we do.

Our aim is to prepare our students for a rapidly changing world and our job is to equip our young people with the skills and confidence that benefit them for the next chapter of their lives. We understand that happy, well-motivated pupils who have excellent self-esteem and who care for themselves and for each other are what makes a school a success.

The pages which follow will give you an idea of a Kirkstone House Education, but they are no substitute for a visit. We are always delighted to welcome visitors to see us during a working day and I look forward to meeting you.
