The Lower School had a lovely morning at the Owl Sanctuary at Baytree Garden Centre. We saw lots of different owls and the display was fabulous. We learnt a lot about these magnificent birds. Did you know that only the Tawny Owl says 'twit-twoo'? Also, owls with black eyes hunt at night, orange eyes they hunt at dusk or dawn and yellow eyes means they hunt during the day. As they say ...every day is a school day, even for the adults! We needed our morning with a lovely picnic in the sunshine.
