The whole school went out around the school grounds to participate in the Great British Spring Clean. Pupils in the School Eco Council requested that we take part and pledged six bags of rubbish. This morning we discovered considerably more than that! Our pupils have been taking part in litter bingo, guess the decade activities and also have been discussing facts surrounding litter and its effects on the environment in their P.S.H.E lessons. 

Today, the children armed with gloves and litter pickers sensibly picked rubbish from their designated year group areas. There was a real buzz and a sense of achievement from pupils afterwards.
